Lung cancer usually does not have obvious early symptoms, even if there is a symptom, it is often not paying attention to infection or long-term smoking, so early screening is very important.
It is recommended that the high-risk population is carried out annually, and the sensitivity of early lung cancer is 4 to 10 times the conventional chest radiocarpiece, and early surrounding lung cancer can be detected. International Early Early Lung Cancer Action Plan data show that the annual screening of LDCT can discover 85% peripheral lung cancer, and 10 years of expected survival rate of 2% in 10 years. US national lung cancer screening trial proves that LDCT screening can reduce the mortality rate of 20% of lung cancer, and is the most effective lung cancer screening tool. The high-risk population defined in China is:
1. Age 50-75 years old
2. At least one risk factor:
A. Smoking ≥ 20 packs / year, including smoking, but smoking cessation is less than 15 years
B. Passive smokers
C. Occupational exposure history (asbestos, beryllium, uranium,, etc.)
B. History of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or diffuse pulmonary fibrosis
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guide suggested that the high-risk group was screened for lung cancer, and did not recommend a low-risk group and a mid-danger group for screening.
